While racks made from metal can only be used fixed in straight line form, in Nirei "Flexible Racks" the pinion is fixed, allowing the rack to be curved into a freely optional form for use. (As a special order product, a more pliant material can be used to manufacture an even more flexible rack.)

Fatigue resistance, creep resistance, wear characteristics and chemical resistance are outstanding.

Because the material has its own oiliness, there is little wear.

The standard color is blue.
