Gas permeability is small, with an oxygen permeability (PO2) approximately 1/50 that of PTFE and PFA.
Elongation and impact strength is large, eliminating the brittleness that had previously been a defect of PPS.
Ionic impurities are few, and use is possible for applications in fields where high purity is required.
